Scotland’s David Murdoch, the reigning (2003) European men’s champion, Switzerland’s Luzia Ebnöther, 2002 Olympic silver medallist and 2000 worlds silver medallist, Sweden’s five-time worlds medallist and current European women’s champion Anette Norberg and Germany’s Sebastian Stock, silver medallist at the 2004 Ford Worlds and 2002 European men’s champion, round out Team Europe, which will be captained once again by Norway’s Kristian Soerum, who skipped his country to victory at the 1979 Worlds.
