Switzerland presented solid performance against USA and after taking three points from the first had no problems defending the lead. USA did offer a hand shake when four down without the hammer at the start of the eight. Irene Schori and Toni Müller of Switzerland have now won all their six games and probably become the biggest favourites to even capture the gold medals.
Finland took a victory over Denmark and has a good grip for the second place in the group. New Zealand and China are one win down so the Finns can guarantee their place in qualification games by winning Poland tomorrow afternoon. The teams that qualify second in every group will play qualification games for the single place that will join group winners in the semifinals.
